Geography:
The Republic of Uzbekistan is located on 447,400 square kilometers. It borders Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan in the north, northeast, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan in the south, and Afghanistan in the west. Uzbekistan is located in the center of Central Asia, amid two rivers: Amudarya and Syrdarya. The country's terrain ranges from mountains in the southeast to desert in the north, intermingled with the plains in the northwest.

Continental, much sun during the year provides conditions suitable for collecting rich crops of fruits and vegetables. Summers are very dry.
