Again it was nice to meet you last Monday. Here is my review of the Dominican Republic. I hope this helps to everyone.
What I tell people about the Dominican Republic is that it is like Hawaii but 1/3 the price. Warm weather, clean beaches, warm water, clear blue skies. It is a great way
to spend time with your fiancée away from the hustle of the city. It is a time where
you can really get to know one another.

Even from Southern California the flight to the Dominican Republic was relatively
short compared to the 13 hour flight to Moscow. I flew to Miami International Airport and from there directly into Punta Cana. Upon arriving I was amazed at how similar the Dominican Republic was to Hawaii. The only difference it seemed was that the people spoke Spanish. It was an easy taxi ride to the hotel and when I arrived I was amazed
at how beautiful the grounds were. The hotel itself was a full service hotel where all of the food and drink was included in the price. However, for those that wanted to go to a restaurant two were available at the hotel. I must say that I ate at the restaurant and the main dining area and the food was delicious. In fact, I would say that the food in the main dining hall was cruise ship quality. My fiancee' ate so much that by the end of 5 days she could not fit into her jeans! The selection of food was great. They had everything imaginable to eat. The hotel staff was very courteous and helpful. What I like about Punta Cana was that most of the hotels were centrally located which made it nice if you wanted to walk on the beach. You never felt as if you were in danger nor out of place. There was also plenty to do. We were able to go horseback riding, ATVing, pare
-sailing, and snorkeling. If you have never been to the Caribbean the water is like bath water. It is so warm and when you go snorkeling the fish just swarm around you. These are all things I would recommend. They were an absolute blast.
The local people were friendly and I think genuinely liked Americans. The great part of it was that many Russians vacation in the Dominican so many of the locals spoke some Russian. My fiancée' enjoyed this very much.

I would go back in a heart beat.
