Almaty - the Southern Capital of Kazakhstan
This city is called the Southern capital of Kazakhstan or the garden-city. Both names are justified: Almaty used to be the capital of the country from 1929 to 1997. In the spring, the city looks like a fairy place, covered in bloom of numerous fruit trees, making it unique and exquisite.
